Getting around, briefly

The Merseyrail trains

Quickest way across the river and out to the suburbs. Get a day ticket if you are hopping about.

Walking the centre

The waterfront, the museums and the Georgian quarter are closer together than they look. Most of a weekend is walkable.

The buses

Cheap and frequent in the centre. Have contactless ready and you will rarely wait long.
